Meet Dr. Michael J. Reed
Dr. Michael J. Reed is a board-certified otolaryngologist at ENT Medical Services in Iowa City, providing comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care for patients of all ages.
Dr. Reed was born in southern Louisiana and grew up in Ville Platte, Louisiana. He attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry in 2005.
In 2009, Dr. Reed earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center. Following medical school, he and his wife moved to Iowa City to pursue residency training. Dr. Reed completed his otolaryngology residency in 2014, serving as Chief Resident during his final year of training.
After completing his residency, Dr. Reed joined ENT Medical Services in Iowa City, where he provides thorough, compassionate ENT care and is dedicated to helping patients achieve improved health and quality of life.
Dr. Reed and his wife reside on a farm outside of Iowa City with their three daughters and twin sons. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, drawing and painting with his daughters, and participating in outdoor activities.
